Breast cancer, adenocarcinoma, 45 year-old female. UKRAIN therapy started on 24 February 1983 [95].

The patient felt pain in the left breast. Examination revealed two tumours: 6.0x4.0 cm in the lower outer quadrant of the left breast and 1.5x1.0 cm in the upper outer quadrant of the right breast, with bilateral involvement of auxillary lymph nodes. The patient refused any chemotherapy, radiation therapy or surgical intervention and began UKRAIN monotherapy. UKRAIN was administered in doses of 2.5 - 10 mg every second day during the first course. Repeated courses were undertaken with 20 mg per injection every second day.

Follow-up examination on 18 May 1984 showed a complete remission. Examinations carried out between 1984 and 2001 showed no signs of relapse.
